Strengthening Planning Controls

Outcomes to date:

• Delivered the Moonee Ponds Creek Planning Context Report (Echelon 2019)
• Developed a one pager based on discussions with the group and findings in the Echelon Report.
• One pager used to ‘influence’ Waterways of the West when the discussion paper released in Nov 2019
• Moonee Ponds Creek included as a priority waterway of Waterways of the West Project

Working Group Members include:

Alex English and Jackie Bernoth (Moreland City Council), Nicky Kindler, Bruce Rush and Jayna Liew (Melbourne Water), Christopher Eales (VPA), Amanda Dodd (Hume City Council), Gerard Colreavy (Melbourne City Council), Kay Oddie (Friends of Moonee Ponds Creek) and David Kilroe (Moonee Valley City Council)

Two meetings were held across May / June 2021 to discuss recommendations for DELWP and Waterways of the West.
