Moonee Ponds Creek in the News
Moonee Ponds Creek made it into the news again last Saturday in an article by The Age on the suburb, Moonee Ponds.
The article (18 May 2024) by Rachael Dexter at The Age gave a fabulous potted history and snapshot of life in Moonee Ponds including a reference to the work Chain of Ponds are doing up stream at Strathmore/Oak Park.
They also shared a great before and after shot of a potential site for renaturalisaion. In Moonee Ponds' Holbrook Reserve. The now photo is a current photo of the site and the vision is an artisit's impression of what the site could like like after removing the concrete and planting.
